MY FIRST PURCHASE AS A GRANNY

Well, GREAT NEWS!!! I am going to be a granny, WOO HOO! I am so excited I can barely stand it! My son and daughter-in-law called earlier and told me! What a FANTASTIC Mother's Day present! I am hoping for beautiful twin redheaded granddaughters. My DIL's grandma is a twin, so maybe.... Brock said I could name them and he also said he would mail me the baby via airmail and let me have it. (No, not really, you would just have to understand that this has been a running joke between me and my boys for a long time.) LOL. He knows (well, who doesnt know???) how bad I have wanted a grandbaby. I told him if it was a boy, we would take it back and he said if I spoil him/her, they wont let me see him/her. My husband is laughing at me because I am already looking at car seats and strollers (yes, we went to the mall a little bit ago) and everything else I can think of. I have attached my first purchase as a Granny! Of course, my other 2 boys are excited about becoming uncles.

Oh, that is so exciting, Lisa. Do you think they're having twins?! You will love being a Grandma! That's a precious bib.

I hope it is twin girls, LOL. That would be a hoot, but will love a boy or girl, single or multiple, LOL.

Congrats!! My mom always said being a grandmother is the BEST thing. Once my sister finally had kids and I became an aunt I can totally understand how AWESOME it is! Congrats again!!

This is so funny and such a cute story. The bib is precious. We share the same reactions on becoming a grandma. I can't wait!!! I think I'll feel this way no matter how many granchildren I have. Each and every one of the are a special gift.

I have a grandson that my daughter is not the biological mother. They have him every other weekend and I love him dearly, but I missed out on his birth and first few years. So, I am very excited over the upcoming birth of my first biological grandchild. I couldn't wait to buy something. As the baby is due Dec. 17 - I couldn't pass up a little red (long-sleeved) onsie that says, "I have grandma, who needs Santa". I have bought a car seat and a few other items. They are suppose to find out what they baby is in July. Then I'm hitting the stores! :)

My daughters and SIL say "We will never get anything now!" Probably true! LOL
