BUSY BUSY BUSY

Has it been 10 days since I posted? WOW! I have been super busy and I have missed my blogging. I love reading the other blogs and seeing what everyone is up to.

Today would have been my dad's 81st birthday. He passed away 05/04/2007. We all miss him so much! He was a great man, handsome, funny and him and my mom were just so adorable. They were married almost 50 years. My dad was in the Army. He actually lived close to my mom after he got out of the Army and they ended up eloping in Clearwater, Florida. She had went to visit relatives and he followed her there and they got married. We always loved hearing about he followed her to FL to marry her!

Rest in peace Dad! We love you!

What a great story! I love to hear about couples that have been together a long time. What did/do they have that the majority of the world hasn't figured out? Except for patience ,forgiveness, compromising, and selective hearing just to name a few...

BTW- got my t-shirt and cookbook. They're both great!
