Tomorrow we will be down to the 20s in our countdown....

Tonight at midnight, we will go down to 29 days and counting! This is so great. I cant wait!!! Just knowing he will be out of Iraq will get me through the days until he gets leave and can come home (late April or early May) IF I dont decide to fly down and meet him in CA, which I am seriously thinking about, LOL. But it gets confusing to me, like right now it is 9:57 EST time and where he is, it is 5:57 a.m., so actually he is already at 29 days, right? LOL, will he leave when it is actually still 1 day left here since they are 8 hours ahead of us, so am I really on day 29 now? Have I confused everyone as much as I am? Oh well, at any rate, it aint long now!!!!

I'm so glad to have found your blog :) Both of my sons are US Marines--my youngest is a Cpl and is in Iraq now (he was deployed on January 15th) and he is scheduled to come home in August sometime. My oldest is a Sgt and is currently at OSU in Officer training. I will add your sons to my daily positive thinking and prayers for their safety. It's a good feeling to connect to someone who *gets* the inner fear a momma has when her baby may be in harm's way, yet feeling that immense pride knowing he's living his/her life how they want to and being successful. I'm gonna take a look around your blog now :)

How wonderful! I am glad you are now in the 20's for your countdown. By the way I think on your end it is 29 and on his end less...lol. I will keep him in my prayers.
